I think, people, that I'm going to be leaving deviantart soon, and taking my art elsewhere.  

Just because one peson insulted my art by saying all I did was 'smudge', now a great deal of my stuff has been deleted by staff. Apparently, I am not allowed to paint a celebrity. Heaven forbid I show my admiration in the form of art that has been done by hand using, yes, a reference, but not the actual picture as what I submit. Yeah. The same thing apparently went for the one I did of my sister. Because there's no possible way I could have her permission. Mhmm. And I was told I had seven days to produce a model release form, and not five minutes later it was deleted instead. Apparently seven days is a lot shorter than I recall.

And so all of this has me even more stressed than I have been, especially since I put so much effort into everything that I do. And then this is what comes of it? Some idiot, and a bunch of deletions. Yeah, because that's what art is about.

I'm sorry if I'm still getting the hang of a Wacom. Sorry blending in a couple of places have not been the greatest. Sorry I have admiration for some celebrities. Sorry that the tutorial I found through Anathematixs' art was apparently only smudging. *Note the sarcasm in that. Anyone who's seen that tutorial knows how many steps and hours it takes to get through that thing. Geez.

So maybe you can see why this has me upset, maybe not. Art... seems to just have gone down the drain for me right now. I hate to work hard on something only for it to be tossed out. So, when I get through making sure I still have my gallery saved, I may just take it elsewhere. This is simply just... ridiculous.

Sorry guys, but some of my principles are just hard to fight.
